The corner ended in Rafal Plachetka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Gozdowski in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Bogoryja SA's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Slawomir Majtyka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Miromir Cwojdak made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Honduras's Christian Sancho suffered a fractured collar bone after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartosz Sala during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honduras made a substitution. Alexander Costa replaced Christian Sancho. Bartosz Sala hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The throw-in from Miromir Cwojdak in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Alexander Costa. Jaroslaw Gozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Miromir Cwojdak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Alexander Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslaw Gozdowski made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bogoryja SA's Jaroslaw Gozdowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. After a defensive mix-up in Bogoryja SA's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Majtyka came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bogoryja SA's Czeslaw Podolski. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaroslaw Gozdowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 87 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Miromir Cwojdak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Honduras lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
