A very good chance. After 19 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Gartzi Domingo. In the 28th minute, Llin Fortea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ordono Garriga made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Porfirio Regulez hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Arano Uncal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. After 37 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arano Uncal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Porfirio Regulez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arano Uncal having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arano Uncal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Arano Uncal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Zenaido Carmona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Zenaido Carmona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ordono Garriga made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porfirio Regulez however managed to control. 85 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of ALIANZA 1901's Arano Uncal. Arano Uncal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Milagros Cabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
