Podador Raheiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Rikardt Kjeldsvig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timmy Voldvard kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Preben Heie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strib Galacticos IF and the Club Deportes Santa Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Preben Heie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Terkild Svarte got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rikardt Kjeldsvig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Podador Raheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jacinto Gebhard got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Podador Raheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Rikardt Kjeldsvig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Podador Raheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Shi Yuan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportes Santa Cruz's protests and gave Shi Yuan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Shi Yuan got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Trayko Gradinarski was substituted for Zhou Yao Si. Yan Zhi Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Rikardt Kjeldsvig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timmy Voldvard made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sigvart Gotliebsen immediately put the ball in play. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Yan Zhi Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Marcus Edström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Robin Hagensted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Strib Galacticos IF's Rikardt Kjeldsvig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Zhi Chuan in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rikardt Kjeldsvig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90thth minute of the game Marcus Edström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strib Galacticos IF's Rikardt Kjeldsvig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Yan Zhi Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Dærup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yan Zhi Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikardt Kjeldsvig having to interfere. Club Deportes Santa Cruz walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
