After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Toplica Sarić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Toplica Sarić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radisav Šljivić didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toplica Sarić in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksandar Vujanović. A collision led to BoondockSaints FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Danilo Marković hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksandar Vujanović in the 32nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in BoondockSaints FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radisav Šljivić came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksandar Vujanović's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 43 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BoondockSaints FC the free kick. Patricio Costa scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radisav Šljivić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute of the game Tomislav Rušić made a throw-in which Stevan Janjić played forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranđel Radojčić in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of BoondockSaints FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Aleksandar Vujanović notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radisav Šljivić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Toplica Sarić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Radisav Šljivić. BoondockSaints FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gradimir Gudelj came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toplica Sarić kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The Venezuela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
