The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes BoondockSaints FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomislav Rušić. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksandar Vujanović in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksandar Vujanović in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. After a defensive mix-up in BoondockSaints FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radisav Šljivić came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BoondockSaints FC's Ignacio Oidor was substituted for Ahmet Yahya Ciner. A collision led to BoondockSaints FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tomislav Rušić hit a great ball. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
