Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tales Massa who took care of the corner kick. Vinícius Olgado came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Olgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinícius Olgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinícius Olgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olgado™'s Vinícius Olgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olgado™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vinícius Olgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Olgado™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Olgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Andi Jovanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andi Jovanović to make the kick off. Vinícius Olgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute. When Olgado™'s Andi Jovanović in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Olgado™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Olgado™'s Germán Cano was substituted for Marcinho Paes. Vinícius Olgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. After 79 played minutes, Olgado™'s Tales Massa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germán Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Olgado™'s Andi Jovanović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Vinícius Olgado in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andi Jovanović in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
