With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Natalio Oxarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terri Moco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 38 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Gustavo Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match, Terri Moco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Day saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 42 minutes on the clock, Koby Fletcher commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 42 minutes into the game, one of USA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. USA:s Marco Day showed great skill when he stopped Jonas Orlo:s penalty. 44 minutes into the match, Jonas Orlo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Monty Rogers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cesar Cordarrel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match.
