Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Orvar Alegren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alex Cambeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jose Laffitte firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Jose Laffitte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ej. Hermosillo B.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ej. Hermosillo B.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Efraim Bodenschmidt hit a great ball. After 7 minutes, Abraham Alguacil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Ej. Hermosillo B.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ej. Hermosillo B.C. booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Laffitte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Tomas Berganza took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jose Laffitte to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jose Laffitte. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Jose Laffitte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elano Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Orvar Alegren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orvar Alegren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jose Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Jose Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Efraim Bodenschmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Efraim Bodenschmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jose Laffitte. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Alguacil in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Laffitte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolae Petru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano Donatello in the 74th minute. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jose Laffitte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Domingos Firme hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Jose Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Elano Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play Panama's Matthew Garrido was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Panama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ej. Hermosillo B.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
