After 11 played minutes, Honduras's Luca Espinar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Tartalo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Mateo Tartalo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godfredo Odilon in the 16 minute of the game. Sebastian Villa succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Mateo Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Tartalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Uxio charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Uxio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Correla q va en Chancleta's Ladislao Uxio got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Mateo Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mateo Tartalo made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Tartalo. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Lizar made the kick off in the second half. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Tartalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Godfredo Odilon, made in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Tartalo. Correla q va en Chancleta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. A collision led to Correla q va en Chancleta getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Guaberto Suero hit a great ball. Mateo Tartalo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cleto Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute of play. The referee gave Honduras a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmundo Espiga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo. 8-0. In the 95th minute of the match Hernan Ruy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. Luca Espinar's late challenge caught a Correla q va en Chancleta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Espinar helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
