When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Kristen Krasmer to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 70 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristen Krasmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Hvam FC's Stuparu Chyba got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hvam FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
