Mateo Tartalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Tartalo saved Correla q va en Chancleta from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute of play forced Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Mateo Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Mateo Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 70th minute of play. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 72nd minute. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Mateo Tartalo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Tartalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 91st minute of the match. Mateo Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Correla q va en Chancleta getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Matias Jon hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Panama were the better team. Panama's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
