Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jurgen Kohler hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Benigno Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galway Cowboys's Ruben Estebe. But to his dismay, Ruben Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Joshua Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 35th minute of the match, Moisés Antas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Jerold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ruben Estebe in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ruben Estebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ruben Estebe made the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benigno Jerold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Jerold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Galway Cowboys's Benigno Jerold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Galway Cowboys from getting a goal against them. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Jerold made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Benigno Jerold made a huge save. Kennedy McBjarton hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Galway Cowboys's Leonel Urdin got a free kick in the 87th minute. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Mikk Nurk sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Estebe in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galway Cowboys had won after a very even match.
