Haiti's Felix Dorval quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erivaldo Botelho, made in the 15th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Jonathan Alphonse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enéas Mazza, 1-0. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Enéas Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 24th minute of play. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Mazza having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gesner Philippe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gesner Philippe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carrapichel - FDFDF's attentive Elói Queiroz managed to snatch the ball when Jean Marie Alcius made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. After 46 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Felix Dorval. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Pires in the 48th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Enéas Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernso Constant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernso Constant struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Enéas Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Louis got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gesner Philippe. Raymond Louis's late challenge caught a Carrapichel - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Louis helped the player get up and apologised. Raymond Louis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Carrapichel - FDFDF's attentive Elói Queiroz managed to snatch the ball when Felix Dorval made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel - FDFDF's zone, Ernso Constant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Mazza came out of the goal and Ernso Constant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Enéas Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernso Constant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Mazza having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Jean Marie Alcius threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Fábio Umrihin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enéas Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Haiti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
