To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Ricart Futebol Clube's Aílton Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Ricart Futebol Clube's Marcos da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos da Fonseca scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulysses Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aílton Corrêa. 53 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos da Fonseca came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, André Luís de Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Aílton Corrêa let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 71st minute shot 0-8 at rihgt post. Benito Madrid was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. Ricart Futebol Clube's Gilberto Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Luiz Gustavo Bittencourt got a free kick in the 85th minute. A hard shot 87 in the game by Marcos da Fonseca from a close distance when the talented Camilo Freixa managed to make a qualified save. Bolivia's players were relieved. 87 minutes into the game, Marcos da Fonseca lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Camilo Freixa. Ricart Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
