When Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Yoga Cura in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Acácio Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Alexander Mostovoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Mostovoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Acácio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 53rd minute of play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Zé Paulo Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A well placed Yoga Cura short distance shot in the 66th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Ivan Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Beraldo Arboleda hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Yoga Cura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 played minutes Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Ribeiro. Primitivo Escribano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Acácio Gaspar. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Yoga Cura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoga Cura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betinho Falcão might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betinho Falcão ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
