In the 9th minute Marcos da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Cássio Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. After 32 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Paraíba. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Osmar de Alcântara got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Marcos da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos da Fonseca in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcos da Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Aílton Corrêa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Charles Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Aílton Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Marcos da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Bruno Barrett successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcos da Fonseca in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ricart Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
