Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Tallahassee Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Mitxel in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Dávid Szentesi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Archie Maddox got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Alan Moruga off the ground. In the 18th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benito Sanz had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Archie Maddox from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaine Thorne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Arthur Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Archie Maddox received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Archie Maddox slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dávid Szentesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallahassee Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Dávid Szentesi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arthur Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tallahassee Vikings the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Dávid Szentesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallahassee Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Dávid Szentesi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, Tallahassee Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirolyub Lyatov to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Blaine Thorne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 86th minute, Arthur Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. In the 91st minute Arthur Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Maddox in the 96th minute of play. Tallahassee Vikings walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
