Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Paz Gledden made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play forced Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Erlend Sørby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Leeton United FC's Gregory Krause tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Erlend Sørby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Clay Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erlend Sørby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erlend Sørby in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Heath in the 18th minute of the match. Erlend Sørby came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erlend Sørby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Si Xiao in the 40th minute of play. Erlend Sørby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paz Gledden got free with Dante Lacasa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erlend Sørby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erlend Sørby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Erlend Sørby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Mexico booed when Leeton United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregory Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leeton United FC's Nero Bonham was substituted for Baal Muncaster. Leeton United FC's Brendon Anderson was substituted for Gregory Krause. In the 68th minute, Gregory Krause hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erlend Sørby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paz Gledden in the 74th minute of play. Brookes Crane took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brookes Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Heath in the 93rd minute of the match.
