If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Mateo Tartalo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 8 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo. Mateo Tartalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Correla q va en Chancleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Tartalo skillfully saved the ball. Matias Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Roman Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Hernan Ruy in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Hernan Ruy hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateo Tartalo, 2-0. After 46 minutes, Cleto Chinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Correla q va en Chancleta and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cleto Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Mateo Tartalo came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 55 minutes in the game Godfredo Odilon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hernan Ruy. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mateo Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Ruy hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mateo Tartalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo. Mateo Tartalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Correla q va en Chancleta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Godfredo Odilon hit a great ball. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Tartalo. Mateo Tartalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Tartalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Correla q va en Chancleta! The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo. 7-0. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Venezuela had played much better football throughout.
