The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Eliézer de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes, Jailson Barral made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fran Guerola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Fran Guerola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Barral came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Lindø hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Eliézer de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the game, one of S O B E R A N O CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fran Guerola. Fran Guerola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 31st minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Lindø hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Fran Guerola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Eliézer de Queirós got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 59th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fran Guerola was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 3-4 became the score in the 71st minute when Thomas Kielland elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 74th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Guerola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fran Guerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 85th minute of play. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Patrick Vaz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Fran Guerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of play. Kevin Mastache made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola managed to reach the ball for a save. The Colombia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching S O B E R A N O CIMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for S O B E R A N O CIMZ.
