Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Teodoro Primo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. Teodoro Primo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Teodoro Primo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Teodoro Primo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela were furious when Rigoberto Mina was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Teodoro Primo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Primo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Primo in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Dolfos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Primo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tony Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Evaristo Rosio hit a great ball. Apolo Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Evaristo Rosio got a free kick in the 89th minute.
