Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arí Paiva got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cléber Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arnt Aronsen hit a great ball. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cacá Ramos in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Cacá Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Arí Paiva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cléber Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cléber Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Arí Paiva sent off a good shot on target. Cléber Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Arí Paivas short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Hugo Barreto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cléber Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxaranguape - FSCMZ the free kick. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hugo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cléber Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robbie Lefevere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cléber Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Adrianinho Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Hugo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Robbie Lefevere. But to his dismay, Robbie Lefevere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
