In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Moises Gayoso in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CAI NEUQUEN's Romeo Elija. In the 73rd minute, Cipriano Pasqual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CAI NEUQUEN's Isaac Gustafsson was substituted for Romeo Elija. 76 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Gustafsson came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Anacleto Unax ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. CAI NEUQUEN made a substitution.
