An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play forced Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cléber Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mário de Amaral hit a great ball. Cléber Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Cléber Souza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Mário de Amaral got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Cléber Souza didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 43rd minute of play forced Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cléber Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Mário de Amaral got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arí Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléber Souza came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Magno Leite was substituted for Arnt Aronsen. With a little luck, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Cléber Souza got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Arí Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Paiva in the 64th minute of the match. A hard shot 70 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Cléber Souza managed to make a qualified save. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's players were relieved. 76 minutes into the game, Arí Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ made a substitution. Robbie Lefevere replaced Arí Paiva. Arí Paiva hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Robbie Lefevere nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Cacá Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maxaranguape - FSCMZ reached it. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
