The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 played minutes CAI NEUQUEN got a freekick which was hit by Miodrag Belo. After 16 minutes of play, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. CAI NEUQUEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CAI NEUQUEN's goalie and right to Orlando Casaus. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CAI NEUQUEN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jose Manzanedo got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Orlando Casaus. Ermegildo Horado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute of the match CAI NEUQUEN got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Heriberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 62nd minute of play. Dionisio Felo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Felo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. CAI NEUQUEN's Kahlil Ardiansyah was substituted for Lee-Paul Ramon. Jose Manzanedo made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Orlando Casaus immediately put the ball in play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 84th minute of play. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 86th minute of the match. Chile were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after CAI NEUQUEN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 89th minute of play. Jose Manzanedo made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Orlando Casaus immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CAI NEUQUEN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
