Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramond Chandeiro in the 21st minute of the match. Ramond Chandeiro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético San Antonio. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galtero Barrosa's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Galtero Barrosa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético San Antonio getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Galtero Barrosa hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Galtero Barrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurgain Hompanera kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 37th minute of play forced Atlético San Antonio's goalkeeper Vasco Gorvea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Primitivo Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Pestaña to make the kick off.
