Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güntekin Adılhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Cubilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Budrewicz in the 18th minute. The corner led ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Robert Budrewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 18 minutes into the game Robert Budrewicz kicked a great long shot which passed Julio Vera straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-2. One couldn't see Robert Budrewicz behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 22ndth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Güntekin Adılhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Cubilla in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Luís Cubilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Luís Cubilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Luís Cubilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Güntekin Adılhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Luís Cubilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Cubilla to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Güntekin Adılhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Robert Budrewicz hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Güntekin Adılhan to make any attempt to save it. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
