Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when David Silva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Bastian Von Axelson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Herbert Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Lundqvist in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bastian Von Axelson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Shadows's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Shadows's Marcos Basso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Niklas Lundqvist sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by The Shadows's Herbert Holmgren. But to his dismay, Herbert Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bastian Von Axelson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 minutes, Niklas Lundqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Shadows and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Niklas Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a The Shadows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Niklas Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Lundqvist in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Herbert Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Herbert Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Shadows's Pawel Gibowski was substituted for Bo á Bø. The Shadows made a substitution. Slawomir Cisek replaced Berndt Edelweiss. Herbert Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Basso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Lundqvist in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Niklas Lundqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lundqvist came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. The Shadows's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Bastian Von Axelson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. In the 92nd minute, Niklas Lundqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Shadows fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. The Shadows walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
