In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s goalkeeper Cheikh Barbereau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Aragones in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Aragones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Aragones to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheikh Barbereau having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Pavle Komazec got a free kick in the 57th minute. Čeda Đurović took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Aragones in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheikh Barbereau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Cheikh Barbereau threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sirmium Legionaries F.C. made a substitution. Srba Ćirković replaced Geronimo Aragones. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Vlajko Bošnjak was substituted for Čeda Đurović. In the 77th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Srba Ćirković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Srba Ćirković came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 洪坚誉 was slow to take the kick. During this time Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s 洪坚誉 to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Sirmium Legionaries F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
