Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 21st minute. Macos Graciani made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luca Zorita. Fabricio Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Fabricio Stephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Donato Teyo replaced Sergio Arano. The wind increased when Fabricio Frasco made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Stephen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Frasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Luca Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Stephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Mexico booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Águilas Poblanas's Fabricio Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. Fabricio Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 96th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Águilas Poblanas defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Stephen. The Águilas Poblanas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Stephen should have stopped the shot. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
