Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geraldo Fernandez got the match started through his kick off. Eusébio Castro hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Geraldo Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engenheiros da Vila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Flávio Mineiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Flávio Mineiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 32nd minute. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Eriberto Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 36th minute, 沈竞伟 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Castro made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wesley Salgado. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Eriberto Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eriberto Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Engenheiros da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Ronaldo to maneuver through the defense. If Gernando Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Engenheiros da Vila players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
