Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Martin Cordeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Martin Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. Martin Cordeal came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Teobaldo Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Cordeal. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Matia in the 28th minute of the match. Martin Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute, Facundo Cadaval made a precise shot to the right of Martin Cordeal. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 36th minute Teobaldo Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Cordeal. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Rosario made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C. S. D. Pueyrredón's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Cordeal came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Cordeal. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Martin Cordeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Martin Cordeal. Martin Cordeal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of play forced C. S. D. Pueyrredón's goalkeeper Martin Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Cordeal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's Roch Siekierka was substituted for Romulo Matia. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halil İbrahim Yeltekin ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, David Beckham Jr notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
