Rivermania FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 16th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 22nd minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Severino Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Rivermania FC's 叶翀文 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Severino Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Severino Hulberto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Hulberto. Severino Hulberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 65thth minute of the game 叶翀文 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when 叶翀文 came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Hulberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Severino Hulberto made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ana Tatangelo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Severino Hulberto in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play forced Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Severino Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Luca Rouco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 83rd minute Ana Tatangelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rivermania FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Tafalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severino Hulberto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lorencio in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severino Hulberto, 2-4. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
