It was a penalty for Bolivia! Bolivia:s Camilo Freixa showed great skill when he stopped Miguel Almiron:s penalty. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Sancho came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Fernandino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 28th minute. Miguel Almiron scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Miguel Almiron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Almiron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Bolivia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sacro Balompié were winning 1-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 56th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacro Balompié's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Miguel Almiron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Miguel Almiron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Francisco Gallo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teobaldo Bernal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 95 minute of play. Sacro Balompié played a much better game than Bolivia and deserved their victory. The Bolivia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
