In the 15th minute Generoso Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, La Pachorra LSF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Zethos Vrotsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Zethos Vrotsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Cuevas made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 32 minutes of play, Peru's Luz Tejedor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zethos Vrotsos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veto Steller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Rufio to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Efraim Gilabert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Magnus Kübler, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veto Steller in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zethos Vrotsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of play forced La Pachorra LSF's goalkeeper Zethos Vrotsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Kübler got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nelson Cuevas.
