Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cornelio Omero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusko Zubicoeta in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Omero in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 7th minute, EBK's Eusko Zubicoeta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Albino Mirande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Omero in the 24th minute of the match. EBK's Marcelo Quexada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. Flavio Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by EBK's Eusko Zubicoeta. But to his dismay, Eusko Zubicoeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cornelio Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Marcelo Quexada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Eusko Zubicoeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Quexada stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Illescas came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 53 minute. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. With a little luck, EBK's Marcelo Quexada got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Quexada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eusko Zubicoeta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Cornelio Omero made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With a little luck, EBK's Marcelo Quexada got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Omero in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EBK's Marcelo Quexada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save EBK from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the EBK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Omero came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, EBK's Cornelio Omero made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!
