When Wilmer Sahagun fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chancleta SC's protests and gave Wilmer Sahagun a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Chancleta SC got a freekick which was hit by Wilmer Sahagun. Chancleta SC made a substitution. Vincente Oquendo replaced Leonardo Lomas. A collision led to Chancleta SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wilmer Sahagun hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Obregón Arrizabalaga. Chancleta SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Bang kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Obregón Arrizabalaga in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 82 minutes, Guerrero Usel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chancleta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guerrero Usel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Chancleta SC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Bang. Guerrero Usel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Obregón Arrizabalaga made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target.
