In the 8th minute, Geroy Ascue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dito Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Dito Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS from getting a goal against them. When Jamaica's Finlay Stair in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leron Sale to maneuver through the defense. Finlay Stair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dito Araújo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's zone, Romon Oliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Araújo came out of the goal and Romon Oliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cafu Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cafu Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cafu Paraibano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Tião Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Gaspar in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Dito Araújo got control of the ball when Jarell Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Cássio Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. After 45 played minutes ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Gaspar. Jarell Hill kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Enrique Paiva made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Tião Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Karlus Waugh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Karlus Waugh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dito Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlus Waugh took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dito Araújo. Dito Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Dito Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Jamaica. Finlay Stair stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dito Araújo. 3-2. Dito Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finlay Stair, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tião Marinho. Finlay Stair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
