Sport Club Mavericks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Amadeu Prado, making the score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Amadeu Prado. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Rossi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Marinho's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. 25 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Prado. Sport Club Mavericks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 31 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Amadeu Prado in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play. Amadeu Prado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 39 minute of play. Amadeu Prado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of the match. Alfredão Mesquita hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Lira. 63 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeu Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 67th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ian Marinho hit a great ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Davi Rossi from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 92 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Prado. Sport Club Mavericks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 95 minutes into the game, Mateus Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 95 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Novaes. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
