Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Czeslaw Domamir got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Domamir in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Anselm Trumpf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banshee FC's Anselm Trumpf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anselm Trumpf in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wieslaw Hendzel's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wieslaw Hendzel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Banshee FC's Wieslaw Hendzel got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Anselm Trumpf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Banshee FC's Anselm Trumpf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. With a little luck, Banshee FC's Anselm Trumpf got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Banshee FC's Czeslaw Domamir made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselm Trumpf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Anselm Trumpf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anselm Trumpf quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Banshee FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Banshee FC's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Banshee FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Banshee FC's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselm Trumpf came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Banshee FC's Anselm Trumpf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Banshee FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Domamir in the 70th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Blochowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Anselm Trumpf showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Banshee FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
