Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Baiano. A sloppy throw-in by Natanael Paraense in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Natanael Paraense got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 27th minute. Oswaldo Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Honduras booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Will Muralhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Muralhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Dito Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Will Muralhas skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palmeiras's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Muralhas came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Muralhas saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Dito Donatello fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Palmeiras's protests and gave Dito Donatello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Dito Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Muralhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute of the match, Sebastian Villa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Will Muralhas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Muralhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Natanael Paraense made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Will Muralhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ian Cerezo, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Medeiros in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Natanael Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Will Muralhas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Natanael Paraense, made in the 91st minute of the game. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Honduras were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
