DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Emilio Bikendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 6th minute of play. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA were furious when Alvaro Gorka was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alvaro Gorka hit a great ball. Conrado Delfino's late challenge caught a Jamaica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. Conrado Delfino hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Finlay Stair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Finlay Stair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Bikendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Delfino. Emilio Bikendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 27th minute of the match. Finlay Stair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Bikendi having to make a save. After 34 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. Finlay Stair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Bikendi having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. Americo Boniel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Emilio Bikendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarell Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Emilio Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Gamus to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Jamaica's Finlay Stair broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 73rd minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bikendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Inko to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Emilio Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Mino. In the 80th match minute, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Mino to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarell Hill in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Kusko got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bikendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamaica were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
