In the 5th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Benito Lain hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Kevin Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, William Angelsø recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. William Angelsø showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Benito Lain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benito Lain really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Izaltina FAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Alves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benito Lain who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Leandro Sugar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wágner de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leo Salvino hit a great ball. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, William Angelsø made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Alves made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Colombia booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Alves made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Izaltina FAD's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Alves came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Abram Secada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Alves firmly grabbed it by the left post. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Izaltina FAD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Alves quite easily take care of the ball. The attack was good, but when Joshua Garrido in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mastache to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Colombia's Abram Secada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Manuel Alves made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of the match. Well-Well Waack struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izaltina FAD. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Izaltina FAD had won after a very even match.
