Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Vachon came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, La Maquina 9-12-18's Carmelo Vachon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 11th minute, Carmelo Vachon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Vachon scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. In the 26thth minute of the game Albert Gaardahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Albert Gaardahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Bastien Domenge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Vachon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bastien Domenge got free with Thiago Pliego in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Jose Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Gaardahl kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Albert Gaardahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hidayet Baran hit a great ball. Jose Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Indiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Orlando Casaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Ignazio during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Igor Ignazio hit a great ball. The Chile supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Maquina 9-12-18's performance. The match ended with a win for La Maquina 9-12-18.
