Delphine Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Gogu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Fabian Kornecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vyacheslav Korolev went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Gogu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Fabian Kornecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Ştirbu in the 69th minute of play. Fabian Kornecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Delphine Stars fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
