In the 2nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Bo Boris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conjunto Paisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Boris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harriet Basabe in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matxin Maliaños short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 18 minutes, Matxin Maliaño made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Pascual Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Bo Boris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lev Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Angel in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lev Yashin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Axel Montenegro hit a great ball.

Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lev Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lev Yashin made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Conjunto Paisa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kevin Mastache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin did a great save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Angel in the 78th minute of play. Elói Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 80th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 81st minute of play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Conjunto Paisa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. 84 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lev Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Matxin Maliaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Colombia's Kevin Mastache made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Angel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Pascual Carballar sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
