Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Vincente Abella came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincente Abella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 10 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincente Abella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 18 minutes into the match, Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Vincente Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Internacional's Vincente Abella. Vincente Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Internacional's goalie prevented a goal. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincente Abella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. Vincente Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes Internacional's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Peru's Eliseo Mina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Internacional defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincente Abella. The Internacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincente Abella should have stopped the shot. Internacional's Vincente Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Peru were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocendo Abar made a kick off. Vincente Abella was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 52 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 55th minute of play forced Internacional's goalkeeper Vincente Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Gelacio Abechuco with Manuelo Abarca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vincente Abella didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. Vincente Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Vincente Abella made a huge save. Internacional's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Vincente Abella, making the score, 0-11. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincente Abella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. Joaquin Prats made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Internacional's Vincente Abella managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuelo Abarca during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Manuelo Abarca. Vincente Abella didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peru's Rafael Gallo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-12 in the ordered_time% minute. Manuelo Abarca made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Vincente Abella was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseo Mina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 90 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincente Abella was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
