Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Alfred Coleiro kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Zawacki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Zawacki. Pankracy Zawacki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 8 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Coleiro. With an all-out effort, Meerkats FC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aron Ghinescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pankracy Zawacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Ghinescu to maneuver through the defense. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Shaun De Battista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Coleiro got free with Julio Vera in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Aron Ghinescu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Fliz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Zawacki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pankracy Zawacki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 56 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Ildefonso Fliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pankracy Zawacki was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephan Lentini during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Meerkats FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pankracy Zawacki. In the 68th minute, George Axiaq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Daniel Zorita suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ecuador made a substitution. Luz Palacio replaced Daniel Zorita. Pankracy Zawacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 77th minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Ghinescu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Meerkats FC were awarded a corner. Shaun De Battista went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Shaun De Battista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Ildefonso Fliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Fliz in the 90th minute of play. Luz Palacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Pankracy Zawacki made a huge save. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
