Honduras's Milagros Cabal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 韩傲益 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 韩傲益. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, 洛阳龙门竞技FC's 邵霖西 got a free kick in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as 邵翀珂 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Lucan. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, 王青夕 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes 洛阳龙门竞技FC got a freekick which was hit by 林誉浩. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邵翀珂, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邵翀珂 in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the game 王青夕 made a throw-in which 林誉浩 played forward. Luca Espinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 任森皓 charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 任森皓 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 任森皓 hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
