Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 韩傲益 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 洛阳龙门竞技FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when 姚昂昆 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gigel Lucan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when 邵翀珂 got free with Benito Sanz in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to 洛阳龙门竞技FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. 王青夕 hit a great ball. When 邵翀珂 came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the 洛阳龙门竞技FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 邵翀珂 couldn't finish the play. 巩耀平 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. 韩傲益 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. In the 33rd minute 邵翀珂 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Gigel Lucan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, 邵翀珂 made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 邵翀珂 made a kick off. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Lucan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邵翀珂, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes of play, 洛阳龙门竞技FC's 姚昂昆 made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Lucan in the 70th minute of play. 邵翀珂 scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80thth minute of the game 邵翀珂 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, 邵翀珂 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邵翀珂 in the 87th minute of play. Gigel Lucan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 94th minute of play forced 洛阳龙门竞技FC's goalkeeper 韩傲益 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵翀珂 in the 96th minute of the match. 姚昂昆 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 99 minutes into the match, 邵翀珂 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邵翀珂 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 洛阳龙门竞技FC fully deserved thier win.
